The Taipei Economic and Cultural Representative Office in the United States
(TECRO) has requested to buy an expansion of
the Cooperative Logistics Supply Support Arrangement
for stock replenishment supply of nonstandard spare parts,
consumables, and accessories, and repair and replacement support for the
F-16, C-130, Indigenous Defense Fighter (IDF),
and all other aircraft and systems
or subsystems of U.S. origin, as well as other related elements of
logistics and program support. The estimated total cost is $98 million.

台灣可沒辦法100%自製戰機，就算是IDF也是要和美國買零件
同樣天弓飛彈也一樣，美國出售飛彈零件的新聞稿，
常常出現『愛國者,天弓二型』這樣的敘述...
天弓二的零件也是要跟美國買...
如果你堅持一定要自製戰機，那還不如走F-5E中正號的模式，
把現有戰機的產線轉移到台灣
可能嗎？當然目前有難度，選擇也不多
2023年國防展洛馬倒是有展示出F-21的模型。
其實就是F-16V再稍微升級版

當時洛馬為了印度這個大訂單同意在印度建立生產線
另外一個原因也是因為洛馬要關掉美國本土的F-16產線
那時候大家都嚇壞了，還以為以後都要跟印度買零件，
還好洛馬發布新聞稿，F-21只給授權印度使用，不能外銷
洛馬還是會持續提供F-16後勤能力
(全世界F-16使用國都鬆一口氣)
之後印度很不意外外購戰機案又印度了
F-16V外銷、升級訂單到手，洛馬也不想關F-16產線
